Our Production Space is Finished!
We've got a lot to report this month, as finally the build-out of the production area is COMPLETE and we passed our state Division of Liquor Control inspection! Paperwork is processing, but we should be fully licensed and ready to produce within a week or so. All of our tanks are set up, have been cleaned and tested, and are ready to go. Walls, floors and ceilings are all complete also, and look fantastic (if I do say so myself).
This has been quite a journey. For those who know us, you know this has been a near obsession for Nate and me for about 18 months now. When we first moved into our space in October, it was a church, and now it's a fully functional meadery (we kept the pulpit though).
Our next steps are to start producing the mead, as it takes 9-12 weeks to complete, and while that's in progress, we're turning our attentions to the taproom side of the facility. Most notably, we have bars and tables to build, and a tap system to purchase. We can't wait to have you all sitting at our bar!
